The aim of C~Art is to show the starting point, possibilities and chances of increased cooperation between scientists and artists in the context of climate change, and to develop initial ideas for a concrete implementation. Transformation and social paradigm shifts are influenced by art and culture. Climate change is not only a challenge for science, but a cultural phenomenon, as humans cause a significant part of climate change. In addition to a well-founded ratio, it is necessary to reach and touch people on another level: on an emotional one, where moods and feelings are allowed. This is the field of art and culture. The project C~Art is dedicated to this connection between science and art, in the context of climate change and especially the adaptation to it. C~Art is a cooperation between the University of Salzburg and the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
