CONFERENCE
The conference is the heart of the event. A vibrant meeting place for artists, students, and professionals from the worlds of animation, VFX, games, and digital art. Over three days, inspiring talks, workshops, and portfolio sessions by international and national industry experts offer insights into cutting-edge techniques and creative processes. Delivered entirely in English, the conference fosters learning, exchange, and connection within Austria’s and Europe’s CG community.
ANIMATION FESTIVAL
The Animation Festival celebrates creativity and storytelling through the art of animation. Featuring a curated selection of short films from around the world, the festival showcases the talent and diversity of both emerging and established artists. It’s inspiring, entertaining, and a reminder of the endless possibilities of animated storytelling.
NETWORKING
Beyond talks and screenings, PIXELvienna is about people. The conference’s social events like the legendary Party&Battle create a relaxed space to connect with fellow artists, professionals, and studios. Whether it’s challenging another artist in a drawing battle on stage or finding your next collaborator on the dance floor, our community spirit makes networking feel natural, fun, and inspiring.

PIXELVIENNA takes place at the UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED ARTS. The university has multiple buildings across the city our event is at VORDERE ZOLLAMTSTRASSE 7, 1030 VIENNA.
We encourage visitors to arrive by public transport.
